It's not you, It's me

Hey Y'all!! Well..  I guess there is a real chance that I'm just talking to myself at this point, but what else is new.  My name is Rebekah, or Bek, or Bekah - never Becky.   I'm married and I have two kids and I work as an insurance agent.  I'm from a small town in Virginia and I'm here for an attempt at scoring more book arcs from NetGalley AND also trying to entertain you wonderful folks.

I find myself absolutely hilarious, but also recognize that I'm not for everyone.  If you've found this blog and are slightly intrigued, here's what you can expect:  I'm an open book, quite literally (hehe) but seriously.  I read A LOT.  I work from home and always have an earbud in one ear and a kindle on my lap.  I picked up reading again last year, and I have reviewed every single book I've read on my Good Reads profile.  I'm sure I can link it somewhere on here, but for reference: www.goodreads.com/readraverepeat

If they write it, I'm gonna read it: Sarah J. Maas, Rebecca Ross, Adalyn Grace, Colleen Hoover, Carissa Broadbent, Stephanie Garber.  My all-time favorite stand-alone novel is, The Invisible Life of Addie Larue.  My all-time favorite series is Throne of Glass.  Subject to change on the stand-alone.  I guess you'll have to stick around to see if my mind changes.

What's that song?  I got 99 problems, but a book ain't one?  Yes, I'm talking about my TBR.  When it comes to my TBR list, audible, kindle, physical, you name it - I sometimes ask myself why I even bother.  My method of figuring out which book I'm going to read next is just as whimsical as my 11:11 wish every night to be whisked away by a 200 year old fae prince who needs a mortal female to fall in love with him to break the curse bestowed upon him by the Goddess of his kingdom.. or something.  Since audiobooks tend to 'speak to me' more than ebooks on my kindle - listening is my preferred method of intake; however, I've found that I enjoy listening to the fantasy genre and physically reading the romance genre.  Also, this allows to be read two books at one time.

I like to keep my reviews professional but honest out of respect for the author, because I can imagine the stress levels of that job without adding to it.  I created this blog as an additional way to get my book reviews out there and here and there I might be venting about something else, and that's OK.  Don't feel obligated to click on those links. ;)

Hmm I was born in 1989 (a millennial over here WOOP WOOP)- and close enough to the 90s that I consider myself a 90s kid and being as such - entitled to a little 90s kid humor.  You should also know that I have ADHD and I'm a bit of a scatterbrain with imperfect grammar, but I will do my best.  If you have noticed, I like puns.

Be kind.. and rewind.  But seriously.  Be nice or I will cry.
